The Government of Bihar has contracted Lord Cultural Resources to develop the Master Plan for a world-class museum in Patna, Bihar, India on the evolution of history and culture in the Indian Subcontinent. We will also work on the implementation of the design of the building and exhibitions to ensure synergy in the vision for this new iconic museum.

Lordculture will participate to the MAPIC, the International Market for Retail Real Estate, that will take place on November, 16-17-18 2011 in Cannes. It will gather thousands of retailers, investors, city representatives and developers. Lordculture will also contribute to the conference “New generation of shopping malls: what’s next?” – which will be moderated by Laure Colliex, Executive Vice President.

The FNASCE (National federation of sports, culture and mutual aid) has been projecting a museum dedicated to the Ministry of the Equipment heritage for years. A group of enthusiasts already gathered an impressive collection of tools, machines and archives in relation with the theme of the road and open it to the public. The city of Vatan (Indre, France) granted them with an exceptional 19th century farm built by Ferdinand de Lesseps. In order to give the project a new dimension as a local development tool, a study was ordered to Lordculture.
Lordculture was in charge of a complete study from the diagnosis to the interpretative planning. After the diagnosis of the territory, the building, the collections, and the choice of an ambitious concept, Lordculture realized the business plan of the equipment, the interpretative plan and gave the strategic orientation of its positioning.

Plans for a landmark museum in Patna, capital of the Indian state of Bihar, has moved one stage further with the selection of shortlist from 26 competition entries. The Department of Art, Culture and Youth of the Government of the State of Bihar has instigated the competition to formulate an INR 350 crores museum to house a historically significant collection of stone, bronze and terracotta sculptures alongside a detailed history of the impact the Magadhan culture has had on the local region, India and the international community. Set on a 13.9 acre site in Patna, the complex will integrate state of the art interactive and multimedia technology, with a children’s area to engage youngsters in the ‘evolution of history and civilisation in the Indian subcontinent and throughout Asia’. Lord Cultural Resources will act as masterplanning consultant.
